Treatments
Safe, sound and beautifully hairless for men and women of all ages.

Jacque and Marcia use Thermolysis or the Blend Method for stubborn hairs
and remember that electrolysis is still the only true permanent hair removal
method.  Electrolysis is the only permanent treatment recognized by the FDA.

It takes time to effectively treat each individual hair currently above the skin, and also those below the surface. Skin type and location of hair must be considered. If you have thin, sensitive skin, electrolysis treatments must be done at a slower rate. The overall time needed to remove all hairs visible and those below the surface will shorten with regularity of treatments. You will see a definite reduction in amount of hair after each treatment.

Electrolysis
In this permanent hair removal technique, the hair is removed directly from the hair follicle and the follicle is destroyed so that the hair cannot re-grow.  A probe is used and inserted in each and every follicle.  The probe uses electrical current to cause a Galvanic chemical reaction which will then loosen the hair so it can be removed. In fact, it causes a chemical reaction that will change the follicle to lye, a product that will damage it enough to cause permanent hair removal.  But the process takes quite a bit of time since each follicle has to be dealt with individually.  This makes it very expensive too.  In some cases, you’ll need more than one treatment.   See our page on Understanding Electrolysis

Thermolysis Method
Here, you get the same basic steps but the difference is heat. The process creates heat which will then destroy the follicle. This of course stops the growth of hair.  When accomplished correctly thermolysis can be just as effective and faster than other methods.

Blend Method
This is the use of Galvanic and Thermolysis.  Galvanic is the electrical current (client holds an anode to complete the current) and the pulse of thermolysis (the heat) combination produces the lye and destroys the follicle.  The blend method is usually used for curly follicles or very thick hairs.  Because this is a pulsing of heat it may cause less redness to the skin.  But this does take longer to release each hair.

Hair removed of the involved areas will require progressively less time with overall decrease in the total time invested when compared with other hair removal systems. Our system is the perfect solution for hassle free, soft looking skin for life!

Electrolysis is not an over night miracle process. It requires time and patience. Understanding the nature of hair will enable you to have reasonable expectations, and assist you in making the commitment necessary to achieve the desired results.

Only about 50-60 % of hair is visible at the skin's surface at any given time. These hairs indicate the follicles, which need to be destroyed permanently to remove unwanted hair.  Each hair goes through 3 stages of growth (see hair growth stages Anogen, Catogen, and Telogen). It grows from its orgin below the skin surface, appears above the surface, and eventually sheds.

People who are able to keep regular treatment schedules reach permanent clearance sooner than those who do not.  Due to the fact that hair grows in stages, all the hair that is in a given area will not be "showing" at the same time. The hair needs to be treated in cycles, depending on the individual visible follicles.

However, the improved physical appearance and emotional satisfaction are very rewarding and well worth your time and money spent.
